The next meeting of the Mississippi Chaplains Association will be on Thursday, August 21, 2008 at St. Dominic Hospital, NORTH CAMPUS, in Jackson.
We will meet from 10:00 AM until 3:00 PM. Sr. Paulinus from St. Dominic Hospital will provide the educational portion of the meeting.
She will present on "The Spirituality of the Twelve Steps."
IT IS VERY IMPORTANT TO PRE-REGISTER BY FRIDAY, AUGUST 15 so that our hosts will have an accurate count for lunch and for set-up.
Please pre-register by contacting Chaplain Jeff Murphy by email at jmurphy@mschaplains.org or by calling him at (601) 815-2106.
Enter at St. Dominic's North Campus, rather that the South Campus where the hospital is located. Continue past the parking garage and directly ahead through the stop sign, past the security "house" in the middle of the street. Take the first left turn toward the Behavioral Health building. You will be on the left side of the building You can park there, and can enter through the double glass doors on that side.
The Board Room is just inside. One could also enter through the main entrance and be directed from there.
Our appreciation goes out to Sr. Paulinus, Sr. Thecla, and the chaplaincy staff at St. Dominic for making the arrangements.
The Spiritual Care Collaborative is a strong advocate for quality spiritual and pastoral care. The participating organizations have collaborated in the development of and adherence to common professional standards and code of ethics.
